 VDSC IS COMMITTED TO CREATING A DIVERSE, EQUITABLE, AND INCLUSIVE SPACE AND ENVIRONMENT THAT WELCOMES, SUPPORTS, AND EMBRACES KIDNEY PATIENTS, TRANSPLANT PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS, AND ALL CLIENTS. FRAMEWORK FOR DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION (DEI)

I. ANNUAL TRAINING FOR THE VDSC BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

II. DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION (DEI) TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROVIDED TO ALL STAFF, MENTORS, AND VOLUNTEERS. DEI SIGNATURE STATEMENT WILL BE OBTAINED AND ARCHIVED.

 III. WORK WITH AFFILIATE PARTNERS TO ADVANCE DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION IN SERVICE DELIVERY TO KIDNEY PATIENTS, TRANSPLANT PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS, AND ALL CLIENTS.

IV. WORK WITH AND ENGAGE WITH DIVERSE COMMUNITIES WITHIN THE METROPOLITAN DETROIT GEOGRAPHIC AREA.

V. ADVANCE DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS, VENDORS, AND SUPPLIERS.

 VI. WORK WITH AND ENGAGE EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS TO ADVANCE A FAIR, MORE JUST AND EQUITABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL.
